I cannot describe in words the marvelous feeling I had at that moment. I can only say that that experience touched my heart in a way I have never felt before. I knew I wanted more…
The unique opportunity I was given, to be part of the Bet Elazraki family, is one of the most significant, biggest parts of life. When I say "family", I really mean it.
From the very first time I entered 7 Rabbi Tarfon St. I felt at home. Whenever I come to Israel, Bet Elazraki is my first stop. When I am here, I feel at home and when I am not here I feel there is something missing inside of me. I want each and every one of you to know that you are not just my 'chanichim', not just my friends – you are all my family. I look at you as a real family, and I love you as a family. I care about you so much and I want you to succeed in everything that you do.
I pray that each one of you will fulfill your amazing potential. You have opened your doors to me and made me feel so comfortable. It is important for me that you feel the same way with me too and if you come to the States, you are welcomed to my home, I will wait for you with open arms.
I know I've been talking for a while now but there are a few people I want to thank before I finish.
Yifat & Beni, thank you for your daily help, thank you for letting me bother you with an endless amount of questions. Thank you for showing me the right way to be a coordinator that dedicates himself to the children.
Yehuda & Riki, there are so many things I have learned from you and so many things I want to thank you for. Bet Elazraki could not have been what it is today without you. Your dedication to this place is never ending. You both manifest the great ideal of being "Eved Hashem".
Yehuda, you always say that we can never know what might change a child's life, but for me it is clear. Each and every one of you sitting here today – changed my life.
