The Big Restaurant

Every year come Purim time, the Older Girls' Group chooses a subject – a country, an era or any other theme. During the weeks before Purim, they learn about their chosen subject and all its aspects in order to prepare for the big night – the night when they entertain the entire Children's Home with plenty of activities and one very festive dinner…

This year, the chosen subject was "Candy World"…
Many hinting signs decorated the walls of Bet Elazraki during the past week, while the big surprise was still kept secret – what have the girls prepared for us this year?

The sings mentioned "The Big Restaurant" and the expectations…well, they were big too!
The long-awaited day was finally here. Starting from noon, the dining room was kept closed with no one allowed to enter – not even the counselors! – while our girls put in their best efforts towards making an incredible evening.
Before the evening started, Iris, Chani, Orli & Sigal from "Super Pharm" Pharmacy Store arrived and whole heartedly spoiled the girls with beautiful make ups. Thanks to their amazing talents all our girls looked absolutely wonderful!
The evening was finally about to start, and excited children waited anxiously to see what awaits them inside.
Their surprise was huge – the children walked into a magical world of candy… Hansel and Gretel's Home, paths covered with bundles of sweets, walls decorated in all colors of the rainbow, huge chocolate boxes and plenty more surprises!
Every group received a special welcoming, and the older girls entertained all those who were present with a variety of funny shows and joyful dancing, as expected on the month of Adar!
During the evening a festive dinner was served and towards the end – deserts that no child can resist – popcorn stands, cotton candy and ice cream for all…
