Bet Elazraki’s Bar & Bat Mitzvah Celebration!
We have recently celebrated at Bet Elazraki the Bar & Bat Mitzvahs of 16 very excited young boys & girls. Our Annual Bar & Bat Mitzvah Celebration is an event that all the children & staff of Bet Elazraki look forward to all year! The entire Children's Home "joins forces" and prepares for the event. Our young children put in their best efforts to prepare special dances and performances to honor the Bar & Bat Mitzvah boys & girls – their big brothers & sisters.
Our graduates, already independent & successful, arrived to share with the guests & the children their personal stories; how they overcame so many challenges, against all odds. They then invited the Bar & Bat Mitzvah boys & girls to join them on the Path of Success, the path that they themselves are safely treading on. They blessed them and encouraged them to never give up, to remember that even though it may be hard at times, if they really believe in themselves – the sky is the limit. To see them together on stage, children & graduates, one big family, one big vision, it was truly one of our proudest moments.
The stars of the evening, our B'nei & B'not Mitzvah, have all arrived to our doorstep at a tender age. We embraced them with open arms. Throughout the years we supported, educated, cuddled, encouraged, cried & laughed with our children countless times.
The theme chosen for the evening was "Hakarat Hatov" – acknowledging the good in your life. Along the years we have taught our children the meaning of Chessed and Hakarat Hatov – being thankful for the good people in their lives, who supported them and enabled them to continue to strive towards breaking the cycle of distress, towards a healthy, independent future. For it is only with the help of these good people, that a new path emerges before our children's eyes – a bright future, and a path full of hope and possibilities.

So much joy, singing and dancing throughout the evening...
